Vision of a shared destiny

I wish the Constitution can return to the pedestal on which it was placed when Malaya began her tryst with destiny.

I THANK God for the many blessings this country has enjoyed for most of its 69 years. At the same time, I pray that in many areas in which we have suffered regression, may God help us to restore the successes of the past.
