Defending your property has its limits

LET’S face it, I’m sure some of us, bearing in mind the old adage that a man’s home is his castle, have been tempted to kick it up a notch and turn our homes into fortresses.

Indeed, I’ve been tempted to do that to my home through do-it-yourself booby traps, such as spike pits, or perhaps even a home-made electric fence.
