Saudi Aramco signs deals worth 3.7 bln USD with French companies

RIYADH, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia's state petroleum company Aramco announced Monday the signing of agreements and a memorandum of understanding with French companies, with a potential combined value of more than 3.7 billion U.S. dollars, amid a visit by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to France.

A press statement by Aramco said the partnerships are expected to strengthen the company's supply chain ecosystem, enhance business continuity and efficiency, advance industrial artificial intelligence and digital technologies, and deliver economic value to Saudi Arabia and France.

The deals, which include a corporate procurement agreement for drilling equipment, were announced during the French-Saudi Investment Roundtable Meeting held in Paris.
