South Korea to host French President Macron for April 2-3 state visit, Blue House says

SEOUL, March ⁠13 (Reuters) - South Korean ⁠President Lee Jae Myung ‌will host French President Emmanuel Macron for a state ​visit to South ⁠Korea between April ⁠2 to 3, Lee's ⁠office said.

The ‌two leaders will meet ⁠on April 3 for an ​official ‌welcome ceremony, summit talks, ⁠agreement signings ​and a state luncheon, the presidential Blue ⁠House said in ​a statement.

Lee and Macron are expected to discuss trade, ⁠investment and cooperation in areas such as AI, quantum technology, space ​and nuclear ⁠energy, as well as ​regional and ‌global issues, it ​said.
