A VIDEO circulating on social media shows a black car ignoring orders from Road Transport Department (JPJ) enforcement officers during an operation in Sabah, before speeding away from the scene.
The clip spread rapidly online, with many viewers watching to see whether the driver would face any consequences for the brazen defiance.
But did a driver really lead JPJ officers on a wild car chase through Sabah?

A driver who ignored orders to stop during an enforcement operation in Sabah on Saturday (Sept 19) was tracked down and his vehicle seized the same night, JPJ confirmed in a statement.
"The driver of the vehicle was found to have defied the stop order given by enforcement officers during the operation," JPJ Sabah said.
The vehicle was subsequently traced and seized at a house in Tuaran on the same day for further action.
Inspection of the vehicle revealed several offences, including an expired vehicle licence and no valid insurance coverage.
The driver was also found to be without a competent driving licence, had failed to stop when directed by enforcement officers, and the vehicle was being investigated for reckless driving that endangered other road users.
A JPJ(P)22 summons notice and a seizure notice under JPJ 64(1) were issued against the vehicle.
JPJ Sabah stressed that all stop orders issued by enforcement officers must be complied with by road users.
