A VIDEO showing a group of men involved in a brawl outside an entertainment outlet in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, has gone viral on social media.

Wangsa Maju OCPD Asst Comm Annas Sulaiman said five men, aged between 19 and 30, were arrested after police detected a 38-second video of the incident circulating on Facebook at about noon on Sunday (Aug 30).
“Initial investigations found that the brawl stemmed from a misunderstanding between several individuals before it escalated into a larger fight outside the premises,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
ACP Annas said police were investigating the case under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder, Section 148 for rioting while armed with a weapon and Section 427 for mischief.
He said the five suspects, who were believed to have been directly involved in the incident, had previous records involving violent crimes and drug offences.
All five were remanded for five days from Monday to Friday to assist investigations.
Police are also tracking down other individuals believed to have been involved in the brawl.
ACP Annas urged the public not to speculate or make provocative statements that could hamper investigations.
