MOST people who end up in a hospital emergency room arrive on foot, by ambulance, or in their own vehicle.
One man in Kuala Terengganu found a rather more dramatic way to make his entrance in the early hours of Tuesday (June 23) morning.
Did a motorcyclist really ride his bike through the emergency room window of a Terengganu hospital?
Verdict:

TRUE
A 28-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle at around 3am and crashed through the glass door of the Green Zone of the emergency department at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah in Kuala Terengganu.
Kuala Terengganu district police chief Assistant Commissioner Azli Mohd Noor said a report on the incident was received from an assistant medical officer at 5.03am.
"Initial investigations found that the incident occurred at around 3am when the suspect, riding a motorcycle, came from the direction of Jalan Sultan Mahmud heading towards the hospital's emergency zone.
"Upon arriving at the scene, the motorcycle suddenly lost control and crashed into the glass door of the Green Zone, causing the suspect to suffer minor injuries to both his right and left hands," said Azli.
A urine screening test found the rider tested positive for methamphetamine.
Further checks revealed the motorcycle belonged to the suspect's older brother, and its road tax had expired since April 22, 2025.
The suspect remains warded at the hospital receiving treatment.
Police are continuing investigations into the suspect's driving licence status and occupation, and the case is currently classified under Rule 10 LN 166/59.
