It was claimed on social media that a man had allegedly spied on a girl while she was using the toilet of a restaurant in Damansara Uptown.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shamsudin Mamat confirmed receiving a report of a man who had allegedly spied on a girl while she was using the toilet of a restaurant in Damansara Uptown.
He said that police are investigating the incident, which has since been uploaded on social media site Thread and gone viral.
"The report was lodged by a woman in her 20s, on Thursday (June 3) night.
"We are investigating under Section 509 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act. We are tracking down the suspect," he said when contacted.
Meanwhile, the restaurant's management also posted a statement on Thread, saying they are cooperating with the police on the matter.
"We are aware of the incident and we are grateful to all parties for their understanding and cooperation in giving this matter serious consideration.
"We are committed to giving full cooperation to the authorities until the case is resolved," it said.
