According to Sinar Harian, the incident took place around 11.50am on Saturday (Sept 5).
Kota Kinabalu OCPD Asst Comm Shahrudin Mat Husain said that the two men, aged 37 and 38, were employees of rival bus companies.
"They had a disagreement about getting customers, and their argument turned into a physical altercation," he said in a statement on Monday (Sept 7).
Both men were arrested.
