PETALING JAYA: A video showing two men brawling at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) e-hailing Long Term Car Park (LTCP) recently went viral on social media.
The men, believed to be e-hailing drivers, were seen having a heated argument over a parking space, which quickly escalated into a physical fight.
The footage showed the two men throwing punches at each other while bystanders reacted and attempted to break up the scuffle.
So, did a fight really break out over a parking spot at a KLIA car park?
Verdict:

TRUE
KLIA OCPD Asst Comm Ravi Munusamy confirmed that a fight between two local men had indeed taken place at the LTCP, with one of the individuals involved lodging a police report.
He said police investigations found that the altercation stemmed from a misunderstanding between the two men, aged 50 and 34.
Ravi added that both men have had their statements recorded to assist in further investigations.
However, he said the pair were later able to discuss the matter and settle the dispute amicably.
“The complainant who lodged the police report also informed the police that he does not wish for further action to be taken.
“The public is advised not to take matters into their own hands and to report any disputes, including those involving parking in public areas, to the authorities,” he said in a statement on March 8.
