Police are tracking suspects involved in a fight at a traffic light junction on Jalan Haji Abdul Manan towards Jalan Kapar on Monday (Sept 22).
Klang Utara District Police Chief Asst Comm S Vijaya Rao said investigations found the fight involved two motorcyclists at the location.
“Police first received a report from the Bukit Raja OCPD regarding a viral video on social media showing a fight between two motorcyclists at the traffic light junction,” he said in a statement on Tuesday (Sept 23).
He added that the victim in the incident lodged another report and said that checks found the incident occurred between 8am and 9am at the three-way traffic light junction of Jalan Haji Abdul Manan towards Jalan Kapar.
“Initial investigations found the fight is believed to have stemmed from a misunderstanding involving a traffic situation,” he said.
ACP Vijaya then said that those with information are urged to assist the investigation by contacting the investigating officer, Insp Mohd Fazlan Rezza Mazlan, at 011-10561017, the Klang Utara District Police Headquarters at 03-32912222, or any nearby police station.
Earlier, a video of the fight involving two motorcyclists at the traffic light junction in Kapar went viral on Monday.
