SOCIAL media has been abuzz over a recent accident that apparently happened near Sungai Petani.
In the video, a car can be seen ramming into the side of an MPV.

The police have received two reports regarding an accident involving a car and an MPV on Jalan Sekerat near Sungai Petani, which has gone viral on social media since Thursday (Aug 14) night.
A viral video of the incident showed an MPV, driven by a man in his 30s, being hit by another car.
Kuala Muda police chief ACP Hanyan Ramlan, in a statement on Friday (Aug 15), said that the crash was believed to have occurred at about 1.30pm on Thursday.
He said the driver of the MPV claimed that the driver of the other car had accidentally bumped into his vehicle but did not stop.
The driver then said he had followed the other car for about one kilometre when the other car swerved and rammed into his MPV.
"The driver of the Toyota car then got out of his car and cursed at the MPV driver before leaving again the scene," he said.
He added that reports were regarding the incident were lodged last by the driver of the MPV and the mother of the driver of the other vehicle.
The case is being investigated under Section 42 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving and endangering life, and Regulation 10 of the Road Traffic Regulations 1959 for failing to properly control the movement of vehicles, causing an accident.
