IN TODAY'S digital age, job offers abound on social media, but internet users must be wary of such offers as they can also be traps used by scammers to obtain personal information.

Recently, job offers for the position of warden with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) have made the rounds.

Is it true that Mara is looking for wardens on social media?

VERDICT:

FALSE

In a statement on its official Facebook page, Mara denied the existence of such job offers, adding that it had never appointed any third party to manage its hiring processes.

"The public is advised not to share any personal information or be duped by unscrupulous parties," Mara said in its post.
