WHEN tempers flare, some people might stomp their feet, but this time it was a car that took the brunt.

A video of a heated exchange has become the talk of the town after a driver decided the best way to make a point was with his shoe.

Was a man caught on camera kicking a car at a petrol station in Kluang during an argument?

Verdict:

TRUE

A man was detained after allegedly injuring and threatening an individual in an incident outside a petrol station in Parkland, Kluang, Johor on Tuesday (April 22).

Kluang OCPD ACP Bahrin Mohd Noh stated that the 28-year-old suspect was arrested by a team from the Criminal Investigation Division during Ops Cantas at Taman Berlian Biru at 10am on Wednesday (April 23).

"The incident occurred at 6.15pm," said ACP Bahrin, adding that checks revealed the suspect had four prior drug-related records.

"A urine test showed that the suspect was positive for methamphetamine," he said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to Bahrin, the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing injury and Section 506 for criminal intimidation.

Prior to this, a video of the incident went viral on social media, depicting an argument between two men and an incident involving a sports utility vehicle driver kicking another car several times before leaving the scene.
