FIREWORKS are not meant to be handled without adult supervision, according to the safety labels.
Sometimes, however, it is the adults themselves who might need supervising.
A recent video on Facebook shows a man setting off fireworks from a parked car towards the patrons of a coffee shop across the road.
It is said that the incident occurred in Sibu, Sarawak.

It was reported on Friday (April 4) that Sibu police arrested the suspect, who was then brought to court and charged.
According to the facts of the case, a member of the Sibu Criminal Investigation Department (CID) detected a 1min, 8sec video on the Amazing Sarawak Facebook page at 4.05pm on March 28.
The clip was of a man shooting fireworks from a car parked in front of a hotel in Jalan Chengal at patrons of a coffeeshop across the road before driving away.
It was reported that in the 11pm incident on March 26, a group of diners gave chase and found the car parked near a shophouse, with the driver nowhere in sight.
A police report was also lodged.
Based on the information in the video, a CID team went to the hotel on Monday (March 31) and arrested the accused.
On Friday, a Sibu Magistrate's Court sentenced Lee Leong Chiu, 45, of Lorong Sungai Merah in the city, to six months' jail after he pleaded guilty before Magistrate Romario Jonoi.
Lee was charged under Section 6 of the Explosives Act 1957 for his act, which could endanger lives or cause injury.
The section provides for imprisonment of up to seven years or a fine, or both, upon conviction.
