WITH National Day nearing, many Malaysians may look for ways to express their patriotic spirit with many turning to music to get them in the mood.

One problem is finding something to listen to that has that "Jalur Gemilang" spirit but apparently the Information Service Department has got that sorted for us.

Is it true that there is an official set of patriotic tunes uploaded on Spotify?

The Information Service Department has indeed curated an official playlist brimming with patriotic songs, just in time for the upcoming National Day celebrations on Aug 31.

This selection of melodic anthems is designed to resonate with the pride of the nation and foster a sense of unity among Malaysians during these festivities.

The playlist features 23 songs spanning various eras and featuring famous artistes such as Datuk Sudirman, Datuk Seri Siti Hurhaliza and Jaclyn Victor.

The songs listed are an array of popular patriotic songs such as Tanggal 31 Ogos, Demi Negara and Saya Anak Malaysia.
