THE stress of driving through traffic can drive people to violence and it is common in this day and age for videos of road rage to go viral.
That said, is it true that a doctor was recently attacked in Ampang by another motorist as claimed in a video?

In a statement, Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak confirmed that the incident happened as seen and added that a 27-year-old man had been arrested over the incident.
He said in the incident that happened along Jalan Kolam Air Lama, a 67-year-old male doctor was driving alone when he realised that another vehicle had hit his car from behind.
"When he reached a petrol station near Ampang Point, a car blocked his car. The driver of the other car got out, opened the door of the doctor's car and hit him in the face before kicking him," he said in a statement.
"The victim suffered various injuries due to the assault," he added.
ACP Mohamad Farouk said the suspect was detained after giving his statement at the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters.
"He has no prior criminal record and his urine test came back negative for drugs. He will be remanded for further investigation," he added.
