IT has been reported that Malaysians can pledge to donate their organs via an in-app function on MySejahtera. Is this true?

MySejahtera users will be able to register themselves as organ donors via the application from Sept 6, says Khairy Jamaluddin.
“We hope by making it easier for those interested in registering, more people will be encouraged to join in this noble effort.
“The more registered donors there are, the higher the likelihood that a patient in need of an organ transplant will be able to find a match,” the Health Minister told reporters after closing the national organ donation awareness week.

On average, 700 Malaysians a day have pledged to be organ donors since the MySejahtera app introduced its organ donation feature on Sept 6, says the Health Ministry.
Currently, there are 517,758 registered organ donors in the country.
