RECENTLY, a cement mixer lorry with faulty brakes crashed into two houses in Taman Bernam, Tanjung Malim, Perak. Is this true?

Muallim OCPD Supt Mohd Hasni Mohd Nasir said the incident happened at 9.55am on June 28.
Those inside the houses were reported unhurt while the 36-year-old driver sustained head injuries.
He said the driver had just delivered a load and was leaving the area.
“He was going down a hill slope when the brakes gave way, forcing him to swerve and crash into the two houses.”
He said the case was being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless and inconsiderate driving.
