QuickCheck: Fight in Ipoh that led to a man's death caught on camera

A VIDEO that has gone viral on Twitter and is being circulated on WhatsApp alleges that someone was killed at Flat Ashby in Ipoh, Perak.

Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said that the police arrested three suspects linked to a murder at Flat Ashby.

At a press conference on Thursday (Nov 25), he said that the three suspects are aged 34, 37 and 60 and added that it is believed the 29-year-old victim stole a speaker belonging to one of the suspects.

"Based on our initial investigation, the victim was strangled to death after confronting the suspect around 9am on Thursday," he said, adding that the case has been classified as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
