KOTA KINABALU: Claims that Sipitang MP Yamani Hafez Musa is critically ill from Covid-19 are untrue, says Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
"Absolutely not true. He is well and fine," he said when asked about social media posts concerning Yamani's purported ill health.
Unverified messages about the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia member's health continued to spread over the weekend.
Yamani, who is the eldest son of former chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman, did not respond to messages asking about his health.
He is known to keep a low profile.
