YANGON (Xinhua): Over 3,405 tonnes of illegal timber were seized in southern Myanmar's Bago region in first four months of this year, state-run media reported on Wednesday (May 20).
From January to April, the authorities confiscated over 1,916 tonnes of teak, over 890 tonnes of hard wood and over 599 tonnes of other types of timbers in the region.
