Covid-19: China offers US$2bil aid and promises to share vaccine with world

BEIJING (China Daily/ANN): China announced on Monday (May 18) that it will provide US$2 billion over two years to help with Covid-19 response and with economic and social development in affected countries, especially developing countries.

President Xi Jinping made the announcement during a speech at a virtual event opening the 73rd session of the World Health Assembly, the decision-making body of the World Health Organization.
