BEIJING/WASHINGTON: With Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases and deaths mounting daily, the United States government has intensified attempts to fan the flames of anti-China rhetoric to divert attention from its direct responsibility for the crisis.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the country reached 66,369 as of Saturday night, with total infections at 1,132,539, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
