Covid-19 cases continue to rise in Indonesia, eight new deaths

JAKARTA: The Indonesian government on Tuesday (April 28) announced 415 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 (coronavirus), bringing the total number of infections in the archipelagic country to 9,511.

At a press conference, the government's spokesperson for the Covid-19-related matters Achmad Yurianto said that there were also eight new deaths, taking the total number of fatalities to 773.
