Cambodia announces it's Covid-19 recovery rate at 84%

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia had found no new cases of Covid-19 (coronaviorus) infections in the last six days, while five more patients had recovered, raising the number of patients cured in the kingdom to 103, said a Ministry of Health (MoH) statement on Saturday (April 18).

The latest recovered patients are an American couple, a British man, a Canadian man and a Cambodian man, the statement said, adding that they were discharged from hospitals on Friday.

"The recovery rate for Covid-19 patients in Cambodia stands at 84.43%with 103 out of 122 Covid19 infected persons cured," MoH's secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine said in the statement.

She added that the remaining 19 patients have been receiving treatment at designated hospitals in the kingdom. - Xinhua/Asian News Network
