WUHAN (China Daily/ANN): Last month, Tang Zhouping, a professor of neurology at Tongji Hospital in Wuhan, Hubei province, was assigned to take charge of a temporary hospital built specifically to treat patients with the novel coronavirus.

When he started the job, Tang's thoughts revolved around ways to minimise the patients' mortality rate and reduce the likelihood of the doctors and nurses contracting the virus.
