LONDON/BEIJING: The owner of British Airways warned on Friday (Feb 28) that the growing impact of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak on international air travel could force some troubled airlines out of business. It was a statement which has been learnt shared by many others in the business.
The global impact of the virus is likely to be severe enough to push some airlines "over the edge," Willie Walsh (pic), the chief executive of International Consolidated Airline Group (IAG), told reporters.
