BEIJING (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): A man in eastern China was arrested for causing a delay in his plane flight after he allegedly threw coins in the engine for a “safe journey.”
Lucky Air said that authorities found two 1-yuan coins near the airplane’s port engine last Feb. 17, causing the airline to cancel the flight at an airport in the Anhui province. This was reported by the Xinan Evening News via The South China Morning Post on Friday, Feb 22.
