Boy, seven, earns a living teaching yoga

TAIZHOU CITY: A seven-year-old boy in East China’s Zhejiang province has earned more than 100,000 yuan (RM62,016) teaching yoga.

Sun Chuyang, or Mike, from Wenling in Taizhou city, learned yoga for three years and received a certificate for teaching yoga a year ago, becoming the youngest yoga teacher in China, and perhaps the world.

So far, the young boy has trained more than 100 students.

His mother said that Chuyang took the road to yoga as a way to fight his slight autism.

To help heal him, his mother would close her apparel store and took him to practise yoga.

At age three, Chuyang displayed a special gift in yoga.

At age six, Chuyang began his employment with several local yoga centres to help teach youngsters yoga. — China Daily/Asia News Network
