TEN educators from Johor who made significant contributions to Tamil schools and education were honoured with special awards, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The awards ceremony was hosted by the Johor Tamil Schools Headmasters Association in collaboration with the State Education Department.

Association president S. Dominic said the department’s assistant director for preschool and primary school (SJKT) R. Ravichandran played an instrumental part in making the event possible.

Ravichandran, who spoke at the ceremony, said dedication shown by the educators and the sacrifices they made for their students will always be remembered.
