KUALA LUMPUR: The request for two additional seats for Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the upcoming Melaka state election will be decided by the party leadership, says Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
The Umno vice-president said a decision on the matter was expected to be made soon.

“I think we should leave the matter of the two seats to the party to decide,” he said when speaking at the opening ceremony of the 100th National General Assembly of the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association on Saturday (Oct 24).
Earlier, PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said Perikatan hoped to hold further negotiations to secure two additional seats in the Melaka state election.
He said that although Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had announced that seven seats would be allocated to PAS, the final decision on seat distribution would be made by the Seat Negotiations Committee.
