ACTRESS Fazura (pic) has left the door open to a potential future with fellow artiste Que Haidar, saying she is open to where fate leads them.
Although the two have been friends for over two decades, Fazura said they grew closer this year after being appointed brand ambassadors for a fashion line, Kosmo! reported.
“Que is the man closest to me at the moment. We have been friends for more than 20 years, so we know each other well,” she said.
Refraining from making marriage predictions, Fazura preferred leaving the future to divine destiny.
“Thank you to everyone praying for us. My prayer is simple: if he is meant for me, so be it. We just pray for the best,” she said.
> Eighteen oil palm smallholders in Kampung Perlop 1, Sungai Siput, Perak are facing mounting losses after wild elephants damaged their crops, Harian Metro reported.
Smallholder Mastura Yusuf reported that over 300 oil palm trees on her 2.1ha plantation were destroyed.
“If planting a single sapling costs RM35, imagine my total loss,” she lamented.
Planter Mohd Faiz Ahmad said 120 of his 550 trees were destroyed, incurring losses between RM16,000 and RM17,000 in land preparation, pesticides, fertilisers and replanting.
“Many smallholders are running out of capital and losing the resolve to continue. We appeal for immediate authority intervention and financial aid,” he urged.
