PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories), Hannah Yeoh, has denied ever signing a house arrest order involving former prime minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, as has gone viral on social media.
Hannah, through a post on social media early Friday morning (Sept 18), also stressed that the Pardon Board had not yet convened, in addition to asking the public not to spread the document, which she claimed was fake, reported Sinar Harian.
"I never signed a house arrest order like the one that is going viral on social media.

"The Pardon Board has not yet convened. Please do not distribute this fake document.
"My press secretary has filed a report with the authorities," he said.
The denial was made after a document allegedly related to Najib's house arrest order was circulated on social media, including a signature attributed to Hannah and an image purported to be the royal seal.
Earlier, Hannah's Press Secretary, Ahmad Fazli Mohd Yadi, also denied that the signature on the document in question was the minister's official signature and announced that a report would be filed with the authorities.
The development occurred when the Federal Territories Pardon Board meeting was scheduled to take place on Friday following consideration of Najib's pardon application, which was postponed at the meeting on Sept 11.
As of 7.55am, Hannah and Attorney General Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar had reportedly arrived at Istana Negara ahead of the meeting.
