PORT DICKSON: Two suspects linked to 12 burglaries in three states have been arrested in Teluk Kemang, says district OCPD Supt Ahmad Afiq Mohd Adnan.
The suspects, aged 24 and 34, were detained on Thursday (Sept 3).
"The 34-year-old suspect, who was already on the police wanted list, has 54 prior offences, while the younger suspect has 11.
"They are being investigated for four house break-ins in Negri Sembilan, three in Kedah, and five in Perak," he said in a statement on Monday (Sept 7).
Police seized a vehicle, cash in various foreign currencies, a laptop, and 6.8g of drugs.
The suspects have been remanded until Wednesday (Sept 9), Supt Ahmad Afiq added.
The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for housebreaking, which carries a penalty of up to 14 years' jail and a fine upon conviction.
