Public university intake results for STPM leavers out on Aug 14


PETALING JAYA: The results of applications to study in public universities for the 2026/2027 academic session are out on Friday (Aug 14).

The Higher Education Ministry said this is for Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent leavers.

“Results can be viewed online from 12pm onwards until Aug 23, either through:

  1. https://upu.mohe.gov.my
  2. https://upu2.mohe.gov.my
  3. UPUPocket mobile application
  4. MyGov mobile application.

“Offer letters will be issued by the public university to successful applicants from August 15 after the applicant has confirmed acceptance within the given timeframe,” it said in a statement on Wednesday (Aug 12).

“Confirmation of acceptance or rejection of the offer can be done on the universities’ website from Aug 15 to 23.

Only applicants who failed to receive an offer letter can submit their appeal through UPUOnline via upu.mohe.gov.my within 10 days, starting from 12pm, Aug 14 until 5pm, Aug 23.

“Offers for the 2026/2027 academic session are final, and any application to change programme or university is not allowed. Appeals are subject to vacancies offered according to the programmes after the registration of new students is completed,” it said.
