Maran Umno Youth chief among four killed in Bentong falling tree incident, says Jerantut Umno chief

TEMERLOH: Maran Umno Youth chief Mohd Radzi Rahimi was among the four people killed after the four-wheel drive vehicle they were travelling in was crushed by a falling tree along the Kuala Lumpur-Bentong old road near Janda Baik, Bentong on Monday (Aug 3) afternoon.

Jerantut Umno chief Haris Salleh Hamzah said the tragedy claimed the lives of Mohd Radzi, his wife, child and brother-in-law.

"May Allah SWT forgive all their sins, bestow His mercy upon them and place them among the righteous," he said on his Facebook page.

He also extended his condolences to Mohd Radzi's family and prayed that they be granted strength, patience and fortitude in facing the tragedy.
