Motorcyclist killed in collision with car near Kulai


KULAI: A motorcyclist died on the spot in a collision with a car at KM35 on the Johor-Ayer Hitam road early on Monday (July 27).

Kulai OCPD Asst Comm Tan Seng Lee said the 4.38am incident occurred while the 34-year-old victim was travelling from Sedenak to Kulai.

"He was pronounced dead by paramedics from Hospital Kulai at the scene," he said in a statement.

ACP Tan said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

He urged anyone with information to contact investigating officer Insp Mohd Ruslan Mohamed at 013-3063710 or go to the Kulai police district Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department.
