Man, 26, nabbed for allegedly killing elder brother in Kuala Kubu Baru fight


HULU SELANGOR: A 26-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly killing his elder brother during a fight in Kuala Kubu Baru.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt M. Manimaran said they received a report on the incident at about 5.30pm on Monday (July 20).

"Investigations revealed that the victim, a 29-year-old local, who worked as a lorry driver, died at the scene after suffering severe injuries.

"We detained the suspect and he has been remanded for seven days to assist investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder," he said in a statement.

He said the arrest had enabled police to solve the murder case.

He also urged the public to refrain from getting involved in criminal activities and reminded them that those found breaking the law would face action under the relevant legislation.
