Parti Cinta Malaysia is now Parti Wawasan Negara, officially part of Perikatan


PETALING JAYA: Notification of the official change of Parti Cinta Malaysia's (PCM) name to Parti Wawasan Negara has been officially relayed to Perikatan Nasional from the Registrar of Societies (ROS).

Perikatan secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said the ROS approved the application for the change of name on July 6.

"In relation to this, Parti Wawasan Negara (Wawasan Negara) legally became a Perikatan Nasional member party starting from that date (July 6) based on Clause 6.5 of the Perikatan constitution," he said in a statement on Tuesday (July 14).
