ACTRESS Abby Abadi said she went through a very trying time during her marriage to Norman Hakim, after a third party became involved in their personal matters, Kosmo! reported.
Abby, whose real name is Arbaiyah Abdul Manan, said she had remained silent about her hardships because she did not want to burden Norman’s family.
Her remarks came in response to a woman claiming to be Norman’s niece, who questioned Abby’s earlier account of giving birth in a car. Abby clarified that she never claimed she was alone during the incident.
“Your uncle was driving, but I was in the front passenger seat, pushing through the pain until the baby came out on its own before we reached the clinic,” she said, adding that there were photographs of her in the passenger seat upon arriving at the clinic.
Abby also claimed she had run businesses to support the family’s expenses during their marriage, while denying allegations that she was jealous of her former husband.
Abby and Norman were married in 2002 before divorcing in 2009. They share three children. Norman later married actress Memey Suhaiza in 2011, while Abby married Muhammad Faizal Zakaria in 2015.
> Scammers are increasingly using artificial intelligence to create fake voices, faces and videos to deceive victims, making it harder for people to spot scams, the daily reported.
Anti-Scam ambassador Rahmat Fitri Abdullah said scam syndicates no longer rely on phone calls while pretending to be bank officers or police personnel. Instead, they are now using AI.
“Scammers can now change their voices, swap faces during video calls and create fake videos using AI. Victims may think they are talking to a real person when it is actually a fake image,” he said.
Rahmat said scam tactics will continue to evolve as AI becomes more advanced, making it harder for the public to tell the difference between genuine and fake content.
