Individual caught on CCTV stealing laptop bag in Setapak Sentral


KUALA LUMPUR: Police are investigating a video showing an individual stealing a laptop bag in Setapak Sentral.

Wangsa Maju OCPD Asst Comm Annas Sulaiman said the police were aware of the social media post and that a report on the theft had been lodged on June 11.

"Following a review of CCTV footage, it was observed that one unidentified individual took the bag and left the scene. The bag contained personal belongings, cash, and a laptop,” he said in a statement on Sunday (June 14).

The case is being investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code.
