Two brothers killed in crash along Jalan Bahau-Kemayan


 JEMPOL: Two brothers died after their car was involved in an accident at km11 Jalan Bahau-Kemayan near here.

Jempol OCPD Supt Norhisham Mustapar said the victims, aged 31 and 25, died in the 8.40pm crash on Sunday (May 31).

"A third brother, aged 27, who was seated in the front passenger seat, suffered injuries and was rushed to Jempol hospital.

"The brothers were heading to Temerloh from Kuala Pilah when the accident happened," he said in a statement on Monday (June 1).

Supt Norhisham said the oldest brother, who was driving, was believed to have lost control of the car while negotiating a bend.

The car then crashed into a signpost and a tree.

The older victim was a safety officer, and his younger brother was a university student.

He urged eyewitnesses to contact investigating officer Insp Muhammad Fasha Haiqal Mohd Faisal at 016 362 7746 to assist in the investigations.
