11 charged with being ‘RT6 Gang’ members

KUALA LUMPUR: Eleven men were charged with being members of an organised crime group known as the “RT6 Gang”.

They were A. Raja Ratanam, K. Sunthreson, C. Vijaya Kumar, N. Nadarajah, T. Raman, R. Vijayan, M. Kumaaran, N. Harichandran, S. Maran, Suwaran Singh Minder Singh and Mohammad Atif Khan Mohammad Ali Khan, aged between 22 and 48.

All of them nodded after the charges were read out separately before Sessions Court judge Izralizam Sanusi. No plea was recorded as the case is under the High Court’s jurisdiction.

They were charged with being a member of an organised crime group between Jan 14, 2020 and April 27, 2026, reported Bernama.

The offence carries a jail term of five to 20 years, upon conviction.

The court also denied bail.
