In a statement on Sunday, he said physical inspections of the pump area and tank sump found no water accumulation other than normal condensation, while manual checks using water finding paste also found no signs of water.

Jegan said visual inspection of fuel dispensed from all pump nozzles found that it appeared clear, with no contamination detectable with the naked eye.

He said the ministry, together with the oil company and station operator, would continue follow-up action to ensure the matter was addressed comprehensively and consumer interests and safety are prioritised. – Bernama
