Malaysia in talks to host F1 again, says Anwar

PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the government is actively discussing the return of Formula One (F1) racing to Malaysia.

Following the successful staging of the Bahrain Grand Prix (GP) at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), Anwar said the matter was being discussed.

“I am looking forward to it. We are discussing it,” he said in the interview with international sports outlet Sky Sports while attending the Bahrain GP at SIC on Sunday (Oct 4).
