Digital dashboard to monitor global supply crisis available from May 15

PETALING JAYA: The public will be able to access a digital dashboard to monitor effects of the global supply crisis starting May 15, says Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir.

He said the dashboard was jointly developed by the Economy Ministry and the Statistics Department.

"The dashboard will be a transparent and easily accessible reference for the public to monitor developments related to the global supply crisis.

"It will include 10 main submenus, including energy, commodities, cost of living, economic performance and trade flows.

He also said a special government dashboard would be used as an internal monitoring platform.

"This is to assess crisis developments, identify early risks and formulate mitigation strategies in a more structured manner based on near real-time data.

"This marks an important shift in how we manage crises using near real-time data to detect early pressures, coordinate responses and provide clearer information to the public.
