Technical issue disrupts subsidised fuel quota for some diesel fleet card holders

PUTRAJAYA: Technical issues have caused some fleet card holders under the Subsidised Diesel Control System and Subsidised Petrol Control System to be unable to receive their subsidised fuel quota from May 1.

The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry said the issue stemmed from integration problems between the Road Transport Department's MySikap system and the ministry's MySubsidi system.

It said the issue affects vehicle owners who renewed their Motor Vehicle Licence, registered new vehicles or carried out vehicle ownership transfers between April 1 and 28.

The ministry said it is carrying out corrective measures and reviews with the relevant parties to ensure data updates and quota regeneration can be implemented immediately.

Affected fleet card holders may submit applications for review and updates at https://forms.gle/hQy1ZQZ2NZoBFJgeA no later than 5pm on Friday (May 8), it said.

The required information includes the company name, Companies Commission of Malaysia registration number, vehicle registration number and the date of road tax renewal, new vehicle registration or ownership transfer.

The ministry said quotas for affected fleet card holders are expected to be regenerated between May 9 and 11. - Bernama
