State administration commended for sterling achievements

SEREMBAN: Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, has commended the state administration for a series of achievements, including securing a record RM19.1bil in investments last year.

Prior to that, the highest investment the state received was RM10.1bil in 2023.

He urged the state administration to develop more initiatives to spur industrialisation and ensure the state remains a competitive investment destination.

Tuanku Muhriz said the opening of 12 new industrial areas within the Malaysian Vision Valley 2.0 area was also a step in the right direction to attract more investors.

The schemes introduced by the state administration, which include providing aid to the needy, to students pursuing tertiary education and affordable housing, were also laudable, said the Ruler when gracing the opening ceremony of the first meeting of the fourth session of the 15th Negri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly here yesterday.

Tuanku Muhriz said that as head of Islam in the state, he also wants serious attention to be given to efforts to improve the economy and knowledge of Muslims.

He said mosques and surau can also be used as centres for the development of knowledge, the spread of da’wah, social activities, and the unification of the ummah.
