Teen dies after falling from 16th floor of Penang condo


GEORGE TOWN: A 13-year-old girl lost her life after falling from the 16th floor of a condominium in Tanjung Tokong here on Monday (April 20).

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rozak Muhammad said the teenager was found unconscius at the 8th floor of the condominium at 5.49pm.

"She is believed to have fallen from the 16th floor and landed on the eight floor of the building," he said in a statement Tuesday (April 21).

ACP Abdul Rozak said investigations at the scene found there were no indications of foul play so far.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

He said the victim's body has been sent to Penang Hospital for post-mortem and that the case has been classified as sudden death report (SDR).
